I was pondering swapping out the faux Filtertrons for the GFS Mean 90s. I initially thought that the 950's pickups sounded a bit anemic. Because I liked the guitar so much, and because I wanted more of a feedback machine, within about a week of buying the 910 I bought a Xaviere XV-950, also in seafoam green-but a quite different seafoam green. The sound of the 910 is pretty hot, but it doesn't go easily into feedback. I called up a friend and fellow band member (the Foggy Headed Boys: we play about once a year at my firm's holiday party) and had him listen to the guitar over the phone.
